Driving While Impaired DWI Defense Law Firm | Houser Law Firm Jacksonville NC

Driving While Impaired is a very serious and complex legal matter and should only be handled by an attorney completely versed in all aspects of D.W.I. law.  For example, if you submitted to a breath test, your attorney should take the time to make sure the machine that was used was properly calibrated and maintained and that the officer administering the test was properly certified.  Also, as the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, so you will want your attorney to thoroughly review any video evidence the officer may have taken.  These two areas are the most commonly overlooked.

If you have been charged with a D.W.I., we recommend that you contact our office at (910) 333-9679 for an appointment or phone consultation as soon as possible as some portions of a D.W.I. case are time sensitive.

For example, after being charged with D.W.I., your privilege to drive may be revoked due to a Civil Revocation.  However, if it is requested timely, you may be eligible for a Pre-Trial Limited Driving Privilege so that you can get back to work or school and other necessary activities as soon as possible.

Our fees for Driving While Impaired start at $750 for first offense cases.  However, we will not know the total appropriate fee until we have conducted a thorough and complete investigation into your case that could take up to one week.  After we have completed our investigation, we will contact you for an appointment to discuss and advise you which option for taking care of your case is best for you.

Due to the complex and time sensitive nature of D.W.I. cases, we strongly recommend an in-person appointment.  However, you can save some time during this appointment by filling out our Online DWI Intake Form here:
