Wills – Our firm prepares Simple Wills starting at a flat rate fee of $65 to $250 (depending on the complexity).  Wills done as a package for a Husband and Wife are $400 for both wills.  An optional service that we highly recommend is having a copy of your will filed with the Onslow County Register of Deeds.  Our fee to register your will is $50 for up to 15 pages (most simple wills will not exceed 15 pages).

Power of Attorney – Our firm prepares Limited and Unlimited, Durable and Non-Durable and Medical Powers of Attorney for various reasons starting at a flat rate fee of $25 for simple general POA’s.  Note: A Power of Attorney will give you the ability to stand in someone else’s place. However, this does not give you a ‘right’ to stand in someone else’s place.  Institutions and individuals can decide for themselves whether or not to honor a Power of Attorney and they are under no obligation to do so.  Please check ahead as best you can to make sure a Power of Attorney will be accepted for your purpose(s) before you hire us to draft one for you.

Name Change – Our firm prepares Name Changes at a flat rate fee of $250 plus Court costs.

North Carolina Employment Security Commission (Unemployment Hearings) – Our firm represents clients at the Administrative level of Unemployment Hearings at a flat rate fee of $200.  Unemployment Hearings can actually be quite complex and often require a strong background in trial techniques such as cross examination of witnesses and formulating strong closing arguments.  Our firm’s staff has years of experience in these matters and has successfully represented hundreds of clients at the Administrative Hearing and Appeals levels.

Notary Services – Are either free or included in the quoted fee for our clients in connection with the services we were retained for.  For non-clients or matters not in connection with retained services, our firm charges a flat rate fee of $5 per notarization.
